Dr. Robert G. Snow is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin. He attended medical school at The University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his residency in General Surgery in the Metroplex at Dallas Fort Worth Medical Center, St. Joseph's Hospital, Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas and Parkland Hospital.

After finishing his residency, he completed extensive post-graduate training in advanced laparoscopic surgery. He is board certified in General Surgery. In 2001, he attended one of the first courses offered to surgeons in The United States for Lap-Band surgical techniques. Since that time, he has started 4 different Lap-Band programs. He is currently a trainer for Allergan and The Lap-Band procedure with extensive experience in the performance of the operation, as well as an expert lecturer for The Lap-Band procedure.

He is currently affiliated with The American Institute of Gastric Banding, SAGES, SLS, ASBS and other prestigious groups for the advancement of Lap-Band surgery.

He is involved in several research efforts with The Lap-Band procedure to further the success of his patients.

He has an office in Hurst, at The Specialty Surgery Center of Fort Worth.

His practice is currently focused on Bariatric Surgery and the Lap-Band procedure. Dr. Bob Snow has also helped in the training of bariatric surgeons in Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth, and various other cities across the country.
